Employees and staff covered by the policy and university employees will receive a salary increase for 2021-2022
We are pleased to share that University of California President Michael Drake alerted all campuses earlier today that the President’s office has decided to implement a 3% salary increase for all covered staff. by policy and university employees for the 2021-22 financial year. . By offering a general increase, this salary program recognizes the efforts made by all our employees covered by the policy during the pandemic.
We express our appreciation and deep appreciation for the efforts of all staff and faculty over the past 14 months. You have demonstrated an incredible work ethic and commitment to the continued success of this university and our students. For this, we are truly grateful and happy that the Office of the President is making a general salary increase.
For staff covered by the policy, this means a 3% increase in their base salary, effective July 1. The adjustment of university salary scales will come into effect on October 1 for professors covered by the policy, on July 1 for other university staff covered by the policy.
Unionized staff and academic employees are not included in this program, as their wages are governed by collective agreements.
